The late Bob Ross (1942-1995) was the relaxing painter on his PBS/CBC show called The Joy of Painting. Bob Ross painted landscapes, many of which contain trees, shrubs and birds. And he would describe how he was painting -placement, brush strokes, and colors. His calm manner made others relax and possibly try to paint themself.

The Kowalski’s convinced Bob that he could work on his own and not with a partner. They became highly involved in the business. Their idea was to market his image and art. Once Bob figured out that they were using him, he wrote them out of his will.
,After Bob’s death the will stated that the rights to his company and artwork should be split between his two children. The Kowalski’s sued and won the lawsuit. They then used their marketing ideas to gain a fortune.
Bob Ross touched many people and his videos can be seen on YouTube. He is missed.
